Sex: Male Birthdate: April 2nd, 2006 Mocha has to be one of the most cuddly and floppy Ragdoll's I have ever seen. He loves people attention and is such a mellow guy! So far the kittens he has fathered have turned out stunning with his large bone structure and great personality. Mocha has been DNA tested and is proven to be a Mink Ragdoll. The rare Mink Ragdoll has the size, personality and beautiful coat that Ragdolls are known for. The difference is in their colouring. The coat of a Mink has a deeper, richer hue and their eyes are a striking aqua colour rather than the standard blue. Minks are also born with colour, not white like the traditional pointed Ragdoll. When a Mink Ragdoll is mated with a Pointed Ragdoll the resulting litter will have both standard pointed kittens and the darker coloured Mink kittens, as a Mink Ragdoll carries the pointed gene as well.
The picture to the right of Mocha and Whisper playing together shows the difference in coat colouring between a blue (lynx) mitted Ragdoll and a blue mitted mink Ragdoll. The mink has less contrast between the body colour resulting in a deeper and richer colouring.
